I am a CPA, a financial strategist, and an active real estate investor. Those three things are not separate — they inform each other every day.
THE FOUNDATION
I started my career at KPMG in audit, which gave me a foundation that most financial advisors do not have — a systematic, rigorous approach to understanding how businesses actually work underneath the surface. From there I moved into financial planning and analysis, spending over a decade building multi-year budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial models for complex, capital-intensive organizations.
That kind of work — where the numbers drive real decisions about where to invest, when to hire, and how to structure capital — is what I do best. It is also what most growing businesses are missing.
WHY I INVEST
Real estate investing was not a side project — it was a deliberate decision to build something beyond a salary. I have invested across residential multifamily, flips, seller financing structures, cross-border rental operations, and international property management. I am currently focused on commercial real estate with a particular interest in self-storage as an asset class.
Investing taught me things that no amount of corporate finance work could replicate — how capital feels under pressure, what conservative underwriting actually looks like in practice, and how to structure deals that hold up when things do not go according to plan. That experience shapes every conversation I have with clients.
THE FRACTIONAL CFO PRACTICE
The Fractional CFO practice is focused on construction companies and real estate operators — businesses where cash flow complexity, project-level margins, and capital decisions are not abstract problems. They are daily realities. I understand that context because I live it.
