Happy Thanksgiving!
It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, and I can’t believe that we’re already in the last quarter of 2024!
This time of year always brings on a lot of reflection for me, as I take a pause from the “busy-ness” of life to think of all that’s happened so far this year.
Sometimes I can get so hung up on all the goals and dreams I still haven’t accomplished, that it’s easy to forget that I ALWAYS have so much to be thankful for, and to remind myself that more opportunities and blessings come my way when I maintain an attitude of gratitude.
I am always grateful for my health and the health of my family, as without that, nothing else is possible or even matters.
My basic needs are always met and I have so much love and support from family and friends in my life, that I know I will never have to struggle alone.
I went on an unforgettable 5-week family vacation to Italy and Greece this summer, got to visit and explore new destinations and create wonderful family memories with loved ones.
Everything else, related to my business, investing, work, etc. are really such a privilege for me to pursue and enjoy, and I marvel at how small steps that I took several years ago, that may have seemed insignificant, have led me to manifest working the way that I want to, even though it may not be “perfect” yet (after all, nothing is perfect!)
So what have I been up to in 2024? Here are some updates:
Our family boutique hotel in Santorini completed renovations this year and is now up and running as the new SantorInn Suites! I am still enjoying the cross-border lifestyle by traveling often to Florida, either to visit our Naples properties (which thankfully, did not suffer any damage from the past 2 hurricanes!) and to also participate in the Snowbird Investor events. I am a life-long learner, and this year I invested into educating myself more about the self-storage industry, which is the next asset class that I plan to invest in. I have met some incredible people in the space, been doing a lot of underwriting of facilities, and looking to purchase a facility by the end of the year.
