Do You Have It All Figured Out?
Whenever I sit down to write my newsletter, I usually start by asking myself, “What work am I really excited about right now?”
The truth is, I had a hard time answering that question this month. Not because I’m not motivated or working hard, but because I feel like I’m in that phase where it’s not about excitement anymore – it’s about consistency, discipline and doing the work.
I’ve been making progress in areas that are not “flashy” or easy to showcase, such as building systems, hiring the help I need so that I can focus on tasks that actually move the needle, and also figuring out how my financial skills and acumen can help me evolve in today’s current environment.
Truth is, I feel like I’m still “figuring it out” and then that can lead to feeling deflated when a situation requires me to grow, pivot and start again.
But here’s the thing I realized: when I talk to people I admire, those who’ve built businesses and share a similar mindset, they echo my sentiment. The reality is, they don’t have it “all figured out” either. We’re all just showing up, putting in the effort, and figuring things out as we go.
So, if you’re in that space where it’s less about excitement and more about showing up every day, you’re not alone. This is where the real work happens.
I always love to hear thoughts, so please reply to this email and let me know:
What exciting projects are you working on? OR
What deserves your consistency right now, even if it doesn’t feel exciting?
Until next time,
Happy Investing!
